Flower Clock at Niagara

img_8200.jpg We visited the Large clock made of flowers and then the Aero-Car. The Aero-car takes you for a little spin across the rapids suspended 100+ feet.

Here are some pics.

1,465 feet in the air.

We visited the CN Tower in Toronto today. It was a short, pleasant trip from Niagara Falls. There is a great authentic Irish Eatery on the way.The view from over 1,400 + feet in the air was spectacular and a little unsettling. There was a glass floor looking down over 1000 feet.

Pics are here.

Niagara Falls – Day 4

We visited the American side today and rode the Maid of the Mist and visited Goat Island. We also strolled by the Falls that night.

Day pics are here.

Greetings from the Great White North

img_9865.jpg Welcome to Day 1 of the Kulcsar Vacation 2007 to beautiful Niagara Falls. We started the day at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. The Anchor Bar is reported to have invented the legendary Buffalo Wing. We were not disappointed! We were feeling a little adventurous and tried the “Suicidal Wings.” We felt they were a tad bit peppery but they were gosh darn hot.

However, the wings were not enough to keep Madie awake during the meal.

Here are some pics.

The Old Bararcks – Trenton NJ

There is nothing better than a trip the Garden State’s capital. The Old Barracks is a fascinating place dating back to the dawn of the United States of America. You won’t find any pictures of the kids because Matt was there on assignment.

Here are a few pics.

You can take a look at some of the other pictures Matt has taken on assignment here.

Vacation 2006 – Chicago and Niagara Falls

We spent a week in Chicago and 4 days at Niagara Falls. During our stay in Chicago we attended the Taste of Chicago festival and the Naperville Ribfest. It was a great time, even the second time around. Niagara was equally exciting. Cave of the Winds, Journey Behind the Falls, Maid of the Mist and so much more.I don’t plan on separating the pics out into their individual days but I wanted to.

Here are a few pics.

Another Elvis spotting…

We went to the Red Bank Jazz and Blues Fest today. The weather was pretty junky but good music more than made up for it. It has a really unique downtown and a visit to the Secret Stash is always a must.

Here are a few pics.

American Museum of Natural History, NYC – 15mm Fisheye

We ventured into NYC today to visit the Museum of Natural History. It has a great space center and mineral collection, as well as your standard museum relics. Instead of walking from the PATH we took the subway and it was very exciting. Everyone should make the trip!

Here are some pictures.

Our day in D.C.

Departing from the Princeton, NJ area we treked down 95 to the Nation’s Capital. We didn’t get to see many sites but we have another trip in the works. This trip should have been a few days but we got ambitious and tried to cram too much into one day. We still need to see the Smithsonian, the Viet Nam Memorial, the Capitol Building, the White House and a handful more.

Here are some pictures of what we got to see.

Another trip to the zoo?

We tried to go to the Bronx Zoo again because we didn’t get to see everything and Gabby wanted to go back to the monkey house. Unfortunately, we got there too late in the day (12:00 pm which was an hour EARLIER than we had gotten there the last week) and the police had the exit blocked off because there was absolutely no place left to put cars. After sitting in 45 minutes of traffic just to get out of the zoo mess we headed over the Statue of Liberty. It was a very pleasant surprise!

Here are some shots.
