Tennessee and Back in 43 Hours
| Bree and Matt took a road trip to Tennessee for a school project. They spent the night in Knoxville, which was the home to the 1982 World’s Fair with the Sun Sphere as its main feature.Just outside of Knoxville is the “Secret City”, Oak Ridge Tennessee. Oak Ridge is was home to Y-12 Security Facility and is the home to the American Museum of Science and Energy, an associate museum of the Smithsonian.
After that, they went to a car show at the Knoxville Convention Center. Matt fell in love with the Dodge Challenger, set to hit the market next year. We also were impressed with the people from Scion. They have a great car and are real nice people. They wrapped up the evening with a stroll through World’s Fair Park and a little room service. After some time in the park the next morning they were back on the road home. You can see the pics here. |
