Haunted High School (not so musical)

We recently visited the old Lambertville High School that appeared in Weird New Jersey. We are huge fans of the publication and try to visit local attractions. There is a great plug-in for Google Earth that maps out all of the Weird NJ locations. Be sure to obey all local laws. Seriously!

Our last day in Niagara

Very sad to leave but we had a trip to Ted’s Famous Hot Dog ahead of us. After a great lunch we made it home.

Niagara Falls – Day 4

Greetings from the Great White North

img_9865.jpg Welcome to Day 1 of the Kulcsar Vacation 2007 to beautiful Niagara Falls. We started the day at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, NY. The Anchor Bar is reported to have invented the legendary Buffalo Wing. We were not disappointed! We were feeling a little adventurous and tried the “Suicidal Wings.” We felt they were a tad bit peppery but they were gosh darn hot.

However, the wings were not enough to keep Madie awake during the meal.

Here are some pics.

Who Needs the Kwik E Mart?

Matt, Madie and Gabby took a trip to New York today to prepare for the release of the much anticipated movie, The Simpsons. We stopped in the 7-11 that has been re-branded as a Kwik E Mart. We enjoyed Squishees and big pink donuts. We also feasted on hot dogs, pretzels, kitty-on-a-stick, and ice cream.

They also spent some time running through a fountain in Hoboken.

Save the Berwyn Car-ka-bob!

An iconic piece of art work could be torn down to build a Walgreens. Help put a stop to this!!

Bushkills Falls, PA

img_0250.jpg We spent the day at Bushkills Falls, Pennsylvania. There aren’t a whole lot of pictures because Matt couldn’t hack walking and taking pictures at the same time. It was all fun and games until Gabby fell in the water.

Here are some pics.

Blues and Jazz Fest – Red Bank, NJ

It was just Gabby Matt and Shannon on an adventure today. We braved most the Reb Bank Jazz and Blues Festival. The day was great despite the horrible weather. Gabby was especially cute since the other two weren’t here torturing her. Gabby is quite the daredevil climber.

These pictures only represent a small part of the day because Matt wrapped up his camera in the middle of the festivities.

We attended last year and had the same weather.I think we boated past Jon Bon Jovi’s summer home. If there was a Bruce sighting it would have been a perfect day at the Jersey Shore

Here are some pics.

A day at Bowcraft – Mountainside, NJ

img_9601.jpg Bowcraft is a little amusement park on Route 22 in Mountainside/Scotch Plains, NJ. They have a lot of great rides for such a small amount of real estate on a busy highway.

Here are some pics.

A brief tour of the Delaware Water Gap

img_9184.jpg We took a great tour today of a small portion of the Delaware Water Gap. We saw; Shawnee on the Delaware, Resort Point Overlook, The Point of the Gap, Cold Air Cave, Appalachian Trail, The Old Stone House, Castle Inn, Historic Shawnee Church, Indian Head, and the homes of some old school celebrities. It is definitely worth taking the Water Gap Trolley in Pennsylvania. Here are some pics.
